Published specs
The product page lists size 1 at 22.2 × 29.6 mm, matrix 1168 × 1562, and size 2 at 26.6 × 35.5 mm, matrix 1402 × 1874. Both list a pixel dimension of 19 microns and USB 2.0 high speed, plug type A, 5 V DC. That page does not show a price or a warranty length.
Typical use in the user guide
User guide SM846, printed 2024-05, lists RVG 6200 size 1 for regular periapical and retro-coronary procedures, and size 2 for bitewings and peri-apical procedures. The product page shows a bitewing example labeled size 2 and a periapical example labeled size 1. The guide does not say one size is the only choice.
Software the pages name
The product page says the sensor is powered by CS Imaging version 8 and states TWAIN compatibility. The user guide troubleshooting refers to an icon in CS Imaging. DEXIS, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental are not named.
Accessories
The user guide says not to pull the sensor by its cable. It does not name a holder brand or a sleeve brand, and it does not say the Rinn or Flow listings are required. Those cards stay on the imaging shelf as separate products.
Care checklist
The product page states a waterproof design that supports immersion for infection control. It does not publish a wipe list or a warranty length. SM846 says not to pull the sensor by its cable. If no image appears, check that the software shows the sensor connected and use a USB 2.0 port on the motherboard. Follow the instructions that shipped with the unit. Do not copy the CS 6200 “do not immerse” line onto this sensor.
